Exotic colour but lacks sheen

The ink colour is very exotic. I have various shades of blue but this one is really unique and definitely stands out. My only qualm about this ink is that I was under the impression that it sheens quite well but that is not the case. Krishna Inks Sea at Night sheens far better than this one. I've used this ink with medium and broad nibs but still no sheen. The ink is smooth flowing. The design of the bottle is quirky and that is what attracted me most to this ink but unfortunately the stand's finish is not upto the mark and barely makes the bottle spin.
